Mingpan is not another fortune-telling bot. It supplies reproducible chart facts and leaves contextual, human interpretation to the AI you choose.

Source code, calculation conventions and tool parameters are open to inspection by version.

The official MCP is stateless and does not build a birth-profile database. Check your client’s data policy separately.

Every tool returns structured text designed for AI consumption. Mingpan deliberately avoids fortune scores, pattern verdicts, and life conclusions.

Streamable HTTP

Stateless pure computation: no chart database, no logging of birth parameters or results. Currently free for fair use.

Use /mcp in Claude Code to inspect the connection and tools. If unavailable, check the transport and URL first.

If the connection fails

Include /mcp in the URL. The client needs remote HTTP support, not just stdio. Retry later after temporary errors or rate limiting. Copying is not a connection test.

Local stdio (optional)

Calculation runs locally. A cloud-based AI client may still send the results to its provider. Requires Node.js.
